We stayed there on our way to Goa from Bangalore. We were looking for budget property and we checked in. Very good and spacious rooms. Area is peaceful and still it's very close to old bus stand. Cheerssssss

An average hotel NOT for family

I booked this hotel only for a night stay to move to next city and found it average for the following reasons. 1) It has local bar attached, definitely not for family people. 2) Dirty passage ways, 3) Some work was going on and there were fine particles everywhere on the pathway till room. 4) There were dumps in the backyard of room, when i opened the window. Still regretting why i chose that room. There were good things too, 1) You get room service, 2) People at reception were responsive and used to get back for a call 3) Bathroom was neat, hot water was available Overall its affordable room, definitely NOT for families!

Hotel Peacock is located just opposite to old bus stand and its in a city center. this is an average hotel no much amenities its ok for short stays, had been for a business visit and stayed hear for few hours only.

Bad booking on make my trip

Just returned from hubli. I booked this on make my trip. Got it cheap. The staff are very nice and helpful. Very polite. The rooms were just as good as the price. The wash basin tap had no water. I had to sit for half an hour for them to figure out what was wrong. Then i left and they got it fixed. The bucked was an eye sore. I told them to put new buckets. over all the hotel was very dingy looking. I am not upset with the hotel but with make my trip for treating their customers to such old properties. I dont know if they have personally checked the hotels they refeing to. I have booked rooms on other sites but first time with make my trip which was a bad choice.

With a lot of hesitation, I booked a Deluxe room in this hotel. The check in process was a 2 min job. The room was already assigned and ready. The room was was very clean and had a balcony as well. The bathrooms was clean. Although, I couldn't get hot water. Perhaps because of the cloudy weather that had persisted for many days. The room service is quick and the breakfast menu is satisfactory. The usual South Indian fair of idli - dosa. They also have room delivery from a few good hotels such as Sigdi. This hotel is strategically located in the city: walking distance from the old bus stand. Infact, VRL bus dropped me at the hotel's doorstep. Again, I had some work in the IT Park, which is a stone's throw away from this hotel. All in all, for the price, the best option if you have things to do in Hubli city.
